The Management Consulting Team at Teneo
Our Management Consulting division focuses on answering key strategic questions for business leaders through our mix of senior experience and rigorous analysis, combined with the unique expertise that exists across Teneo. We operate across a diverse array of sectors including Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Leisure & Hospitality, Software, Transport, and TMT, amongst others. Within these markets, we provide strategic, operational, and due diligence support, advising reputable Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 firms, key public-sector organizations, and leading private equity houses.
As a Summer Intern in our Management Consulting division, you will collaborate with teams to develop and deliver client solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with project leaders to address client questions and challenges within the broader context of an engagement
- Use a hypothesis-driven approach to develop and test client insights, including collecting and analyzing data and creating clear, compelling slides
- Conduct client, industry, and market-specific research to support recommendations
- Contribute to client and internal presentations, workshops, and meetings, both formal and informal
- Collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts across Teneo
- Support proposal development, slide creation, data analysis, and internal Consulting Team initiatives such as recruiting or knowledge management
Qualifications:
- Currently in your junior year of an undergraduate degree, with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028
- Strong academic record, with demonstrated leadership through prior work experience and/or relevant extracurricular activities
- Excellent analytical, logical, and numerical skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving
- Entrepreneurial mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to identify and ask thoughtful, relevant questions
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Collaborative team player who can work effectively with colleagues across different levels and areas of expertise
- Ability to take initiative while using good judgment to seek support or guidance when needed
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to influence, challenge constructively, and create a positive, credible impression with others
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Base Range
$31.47 per hour
Flexible Work Policy
Teneo believes in in-person collaboration. If you are assigned to the New York office, the company expectation is for interns to work from the office location a minimum of four times a week. Interns will be required to come into the office for orientations and events during their first week.
