Quick Formatting Tips

  • One Page: your cover letter should be no longer than one page… shorter is better here
  • Include: Contact Information, Date, Hiring Manager Name, Company Address and Subject Line
  • Style: left-align your text for readability and use single or 1.15 line spacing between paragraphs
  • Be Concise: each paragraph should be brief; no more than 5-6 sentences long
