Jennifer Boglioli-Puleo is the Director of Employer Relations for St. John’s College and The School of Education at St. John’s University, a role she has held since March 2018. In this position, she serves as a vital liaison between industry, faculty, and students, cultivating relationships with businesses and connecting them with the academic community. Jennifer’s efforts have significantly expanded employer engagement, facilitating campus recruiting, internships, and career-related events.

Previously, Jennifer held several positions at Adelphi University, where she played a crucial role in alumni relations and career services. She developed and managed industry-specific events, created student-alumni engagement opportunities, and managed substantial departmental budgets.

Jennifer’s educational background includes a C.A.G.S in Human Resources Management from Adelphi University, an M.A. in Communication and Rhetorical Studies from Syracuse University, and a B.S. in Communication Arts from St. John’s University. She also holds several professional certifications, including Nonprofit Board Management Training and Global Career Development Facilitator.

Jennifer’s dedication to career services and alumni relations, combined with her strategic vision and leadership, have significantly contributed to the success of the programs she oversees, connecting thousands of students to valuable career opportunities.

Dr. Michelle Kyriakides, Director of Employer Relations & Career Advisement for the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, has over 20 years of experience in career counseling, experiential learning, and higher education administration. Prior to working in higher education, she worked in the communications industry, supporting college students from across the country as they interned at national media outlets in New York City and serving as the manager of public relations for a nonprofit organization.

Dr. Kyriakides has taught graduate courses in higher education administration focused on career counseling, student retention and data management. She has presented locally and nationally about program assessment, data driven decision making, and her collaborative work with faculty and across campus divisions.

Michelle earned an Ed.D. in Instructional Leadership and an M.S.Ed. in Student Development Practices in Higher Education at St. John’s University; an M.A. in Television/Film from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School for Public Communications; and a B.A. in Communication and Philosophy from The University of Scranton.

An experienced professional who enjoys creating, building and maintaining relationships. Through athletic experiences as a student-athlete, coach and administrator, I have gained a tremendous amount of respect for how communication and teamwork can help positively impact our lives. I am greatly enjoying using those experiences in my personal and professional pursuits of happiness.

I hold a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. With this degree, I have worked with hundreds of Gen Z and university-level students, developed curricula focused on interview skills and resume building, and, most importantly, emphasized the power of personal branding.

With over 12 years of experience in content development and strategy, my creative drive has always been a significant asset in every role I’ve taken on.

Currently serving as Assistant Director of Student Experience within the Career Services department at St. John’s University, I am a dedicated professional with a background in psychology. I earned my B.A. in psychology from St. John’s University and my M.A. from Adelphi University. Throughout my career, I have successfully transitioned into a dynamic career coach, specializing in guiding individuals to realize their professional potential. My expertise spans from full-desk recruitment, candidate assessment, managing hiring pipelines, to crafting job requisitions, utilizing boolean search techniques, developing portfolios, providing exemplary customer service, conducting career coaching sessions, and offering comprehensive resume review and writing services.

My current focus is on cultivating productive relationships throughout the university community, swiftly resolving issues, and ensuring a positive student experience. With a robust skill set in cross-departmental communication, timeline management, and utilizing customer feedback to drive exceptional outcomes.

Drawing upon a rich tapestry of professional experiences and global adventures, I guide students on their career paths as a Career & Internship Advisor. With insights gained from higher education, top-tier financial institutions, and healthcare, I am equipped with a robust toolkit to guide students towards their professional aspirations. Living in Rome, Italy, and Hong Kong, China, has enriched my approach, allowing me to infuse cultural perspectives and creativity into my guidance. I focus on building strong relationships with students, understanding their individual goals, and designing dynamic content that address their specific needs.

Her work encompasses everything from event promotion to digital communication with external stakeholders. Emphasizing career opportunities, resources, and success stories, her efforts are dedicated to shaping the UCS brand and fostering an engaged campus community to drive career success for all students.

As an ICF Certified Professional Coach specializing in Career Transition and Leadership Development, I integrate my education, a career in operation management, and my international experience to effectively guide leaders to higher levels of effectiveness throughout their professional journey.

After coaching hundreds of out-placed individuals during the “Great Recession”, it was a natural fit to come to St. John’s University Career Services and apply the same coaching techniques to our future generation of employees, preparing them to be ‘market-ready’ upon graduation.

I meet with students, representing ~114 countries, through comprehensive individual and group career advisement sessions. I’ve increased engagement to career services from 29% to 73% year-over-year by facilitating >40 in-class presentations per Academic Year, programming and promoting attendance to Career Services sponsored events and collaborating often with our dedicated faculty.

As an Adjunct Professor for the Collins College of Professional Studies, I teach Public Speaking to incoming 1Y students and how to “discover their voices” by learning the art of storytelling as it relates to their professional journey.
