Who is John Needham:John Needham is President of Publishing & Esports at Riot Games, where he oversees global publishing, esports, music, consumer products, international operations and more. His team focuses on turning players into life-long fans and delivering unforgettable cultural moments that bring Riot’s games and communities together. Since joining Riot in 2017, John has played a key role in growing Riot’s esports ecosystem, including the League of Legends World Championship and VALORANT Champions Tour, into some of the biggest events in competitive gaming. Prior to Riot, John held senior leadership roles at Microsoft, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and several other gaming and entertainment companies.
