Dr. Shirley-Ann Behravesh is a senior sustainability scientist and lecturer in the School of Sustainability at Arizona State University. Her area of expertise is Corporate Sustainability, more specifically: sustainable business practices, sustainability-focused innovation and enterprise, and organizational culture.
In this clip, Dr. Behravesh gives us an example of how changemakers don’t necessarily have to be entrepreneurs. They can create great change from within existing organizations at any level.
Dr. Behravesh also teaches and does research on sustainable cities, biomimicry, and sustainable supply chains. She has worked in the field of sustainability for over 10 years including working as a project manager with the Cambridgeshire County Council in the UK, with European partners on projects spanning the fields of sustainable transportation, construction, and renewable energy technologies. She has worked on corporate sustainability, process improvement and supply chain strategies with several non-profits, government agencies and businesses of all sizes in the United States and the United Kingdom.
