Research Scientist (1- or 2-Year Term)

IVIEW Therapeutics Inc. is a clinical stage biotechnology company dedicated to developing innovative ophthalmic therapeutics.

We are currently seeking two self-motivated Research Scientists (focusing on formulation development and analytical tests) to join our research team. This is a 1- to 2-year term positionwith the potential to transition into a permanent role. The successful candidates will contribute to the development and analysis of topical formulations. IVIEW Therapeutics sponsors H-1B visas and supports Green Card applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct formulation development.
  • Design and conduct drug-excipient compatibility study, stability study and packaging suitability study.
  • Prepare lab batches, pilot batches, and scale-up trials as per Quality by Design (QbD) principles.
  • Conduct analytical tests such as HPLC, UV, viscosity, osmolarity and particle size measurement etc.
  • Records all the processes and results in laboratory notebooks as required by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Write and review reports and project plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field is required.
  • Excellent laboratory skills.
  • Excellent work attitude/ethics. Good communication, problem solving, recording keeping and team skills.
