LEGAL SECRETARY – Part-time / Full-time
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual looking for an exciting career in the legal field.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal professionals, including bookkeeping.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as contracts, briefs, and correspondence.
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
- Maintain and organize legal files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in the preparation for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, etc.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with a high level of professionalism.
Requirements include:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary or related role preferred.
- Proficient in using legal software and tools, including case management systems such as CosmoLex.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe.
Pay will be based on the candidate’s level of experience and talent, ranging from $19.00 hr. to $25.00 hr. Parking near the office in the Arena District will be provided. Benefits available based on part-time or full-time status.
