RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the gallery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with artists and clients.
- Negotiate sales and purchase agreements.
- Provide friendly customer service.
- Engage with visitors and provide information about exhibited artworks.
- Assist in organizing gallery events and openings.
- Liaison between artists or artwork and potential buyers.
- Handle administrative tasks, including inventory management and record-keeping.
QUALIFICATIONS
- In the last year of a bachelor’s degree or recently graduated in Art History, Fine Art, or Studio Arts.
- Proficiency and experience in sales techniques, negotiation, and care for client-gallery relationships.
- Market knowledge of trends, prices, and buying and selling conditions.
- Passion for and knowledge of contemporary art.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong research skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with design software.
