- 12-18 month rotation through AP, AR, and Financial Analyst roles.
- You’ll get mentored directly by the company founders and our experienced Controller.
What You’ll Do
- Calculate the real margin behind every order.
- Learn and update our costs through all purchase channels, manufacturers, shipping partners and various service providers.
- Learn and update manufacturer programs (customer facing rebates & promotions as well as performance-based incentives).
- Prepare & share program materials with the sales team.
- Track and audit freight and shipping invoices for accuracy.
- Prepare and submit rebate claims to manufacturers and follow up on reimbursement.
- Work closely with operations, accounting, purchasing, and sales to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Assist accounting team with AP & AR activities.
- Assist with customer billing, including credit card payment capture, and invoicing.
- Assist with monthly close activities.
- Assist with maintaining the company budget discipline.
- Anticipate issues, escalate to controller and company executives before problems arise.
- Support the accounting department with additional tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related discipline.
- Experience in accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP standards.
- Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting software.
- Friendly personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- A problem-solver with a process improvement mindset, always looking for ways to streamline workflows.
- This is an in-person role in our Bedminster NJ and/or Englewood NJ locations.
