What is the role?
As a BI Research Associate Analyst Summer Intern, you will help conduct investment research for our US team, focusing on one of several areas, such as industry and company analysis, credit analysis, or equity strategy. During your time with us, you will develop your Bloomberg product knowledge, learn about our clients and their needs, and build relationships across the company. Your work will range from financial modeling and data analysis to conduct investment research, drawing conclusions from data, and developing concise narratives that communicate your findings. You will also gain exposure to how BI uses emerging technologies, including AI and automation, to enhance research workflows. Your work throughout the summer will culminate in a final project, giving you the opportunity to showcase what you have learned, present and defend your analysis, and experience how your career could evolve as a full-time BI Research Associate Analyst. The program will include opportunities to attend ‘Bloomberg Speaker Series’ sessions with company leaders, participate in community service projects and other intern events, and network with fellow interns and employees. Throughout the internship, you will be supported by your manager, BI team, and recruiter, who will provide regular feedback on your work and help you navigate the company.
