About Intern
Intern should be passionate about music.
Intern should be currently studying a program related to music, marketing, advertising or social media.
Intern should be a team player, creative thinker and a great communicator.
Intern should be curious about the latest music trends.
Intern should be highly motivated and organized.
Intern should be able to work independently and have a pro-active attitude.
Intern should be comfortable in sharing ideas with teams.
Intern should enjoy listening to indie and unsigned artists.
Intern should have part-time (min. 10 hours/week) or full-time (flexible hours) available for a minimum internship of 3 months.
Intern should have experience handling confidential information.
Intern should have excellent communication and writing skills.
Intern should have very strong computer skills, being proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Intern should have a basic understanding of the music industry and be eager to learn about the day-to-day business.
Intern with experience as a performer, songwriter, producer, remixer or recording engineer is a plus.
The Internship
Amathus Music is looking for a highly motivated, organized and enthusiastic individual interested in learning more about the music industry. This internship will allow interns to gain first-hand experience in a variety of areas, including but not limited to: A&R, artist development, production, remixing, release planning and working with a release schedule.
Intern Responsibilities
Intern will have the opportunity to be in touch with music industry contacts, including producers, remixers and artists.
Intern will have the opportunity to research new artists through word-of-mouth, charts, demos, radio play, etc.
Intern will have the opportunity to work on various tasks for A&R, including tracking album status, charts, transcribing and reviewing lyrics and reviewing clean audio.
Intern will have the opportunity to assist and participate in coordination of music production, including working with artists, producers, remixers and engineers.
Intern will have the opportunity to assist with day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure projects are complete and submitted on-time.
Intern will have the opportunity to monitor and report on various charts domestically and internationally.
Intern will have the opportunity to support the team with monitoring, analysis and evaluation.
Intern will have the opportunity to create campaign reports in close collaboration with teams.
Intern will have the opportunity to think out of the box and suggest new ideas.
Internship Terms & Conditions
Internships are non-paid but can count towards credits for your school/university program.
Intern must be at least 18 years of age.
Amathus Music does not offer accommodations.
Amathus Music does not offer any work visas for international students.
All internship programs are in English.
