Career Trek: Northwell CORE Lab for Clinical Lab Science Majors

**Must be a junior or senior Clinical Lab Science Major to be considered for this Trek.Join us for a Career Trek to the Northwell CORE Lab, a fully automated, state-of-the-art clinical laboratory located at the Center for Advanced Medicine in Lake Success, NY. As one of North America’s largest labs, it performs millions of diagnostic tests each year for Northwell Health and NYC Health + Hospitals. The CORE Lab features one of the continent’s largest Roche Diagnostics automated testing lines, using robotics and advanced technology to significantly expand testing speed and accuracy.Students will:
Get a behind-the-scenes look at large-scale diagnostic testing and automation
Learn about services including routine blood work, microbiology, and molecular diagnostics
Hear from Northwell professionals about their career paths and day-to-day roles
Explore career opportunities in laboratory science and healthcare operations
All registrations will take you to an application form, which must be completed in full to be considered.
