
Career Champions, Faculty Track
University Career Services is thrilled to invite faculty and staff to join our Career Champions Program, an exciting initiative designed to strengthen our campus-wide career ecosystem and bring the “career everywhere” philosophy to life for all St. John’s students. A Career Everywhere philosophy pulls career education and preparation out of the siloed position of University Career Services and implements those practices in every touchpoint a student has on campus.
Career Champions (Faculty Track) is a program designed by University Career Services to enhance and support the career-related conversations you’re already having with students in the classroom.
The Career Champions faculty track offers:
- Insights into early career labor market trends
- Guidance on accessing and leveraging Career Services’ online tools
- Foundational advising strategies tailored to faculty engagement
- A Canvas course for 24/7 access to champion materials and resources!
- Time Commitment: 2 Asynchronous Canvas Modules (approx. 20-minutes each) and 1 Live (Virtual) Session (approx.1.5 hours)

The Career Champions, Faculty Track is a 3-part program comprised of two asynchronous workshops and one live workshop. Following the successful completion of all three workshops, faculty members will receive a certificate and be recognized as a Career Champion across the St. John’s University campus community.
